The 26-year-old signed from Udinese in 2023 for £30million [BBC Sport] but has failed to have a prolonged positive impact at Goodison Park.

Tom Fellows could be a step in the right direction for Everton
There is plenty of value to be had from the Championship and Everton have utilised that in recent years with James Tarkowski and Jack Harrison coming in.
This transfer strategy could be extended to bring in young players from the second tier on cheaper deals and help them reach their potential.

The Baggies have been up there with the best sides in the division with the 21-year-old at the heart of everything good at The Hawthorns right now.
Everton could bring the winger in and give him time to develop in the Premier League and allow him to become a key player on Merseyside for years to come.
This could prove to be a much more efficient transfer strategy than what has been utilised at Goodison in the past.
It would still be a risk to put so much faith in Fellows but supporters would love to see that kind of deal.
