Wenham wants Daniel Levy to pay £60m+ to complete 'Dream' Tottenham transfer

John Wenham wants Tottenham to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose has described the 25-year-old as “a dream signing” for the club.

As reported by the Daily Mail (7 June), Eze has a release clause worth a minimum of £60million.

Reliable Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe reported via X (14 June) that Eze is one of the club’s most desired transfer targets this summer.

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – wants Daniel Levy to complete this transfer.

“I absolutely want Tottenham to sign Eze,” Wenham said. “He counts as homegrown, he can play in various positions, and I think his next move will be to a big club in the Premier League.

“Hopefully that club is Tottenham. He is an exciting player who will get fans off their feet inside the stadium. Eze would be a dream signing for me.”

This is a deal which Spurs can afford to complete.

With all the money Levy is generating in North London thanks to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, there is no excuse to not at least give this deal a go.

It could come down to whether or not Eze fancies a move to play under Ange Postecoglou.

The England international would likely suit the Australian’s way of playing, and with Spurs considered a step up from Palace, personal terms also shouldn’t prove to be too much of a stumbling block.

The deal is there to be done, and if Spurs can get this signing across the line then it would be a big game-changer ahead of next season.
