Celtic fans rage at board after 'disgraceful' transfer latest

Celtic fans have lashed out at the board following a lack of activity in the transfer market so far this summer, calling for more ambition to be shown.

Celtic’s board has long been criticised by fans for being happy simply to finish above Rangers rather than showing the ambition required to compete in European competitions.

Terrible Champions League campaigns in consecutive seasons are evidence of this, and fans are desperate for improvements to be made on the pitch.

However, the Hoops are yet to land a single incoming deal this summer, while their Old Firm rivals have completed five transfers already.

There is clear room for improvement in Brendan Rodgers’ squad, notably in goal after Joe Hart’s retirement, but the lack of movement in the market has left fans raging.

Supporters labelled the board “disgraceful”, “criminal” and “pathetic” as they made their frustrations known, demanding they show more ambition.
