Finance Expert reacts to multi-million Everton transfer development

Dan Plumley has insisted that Everton splashing the cash again to sign Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille is yet more positive news from Goodison Park.

After Dan Friedkin entered exclusive negotiations to complete his takeover of the club, it was shared that the Toffees had purchased Ndiaye for more than £15million [Fabrizio Romano].

The football finance expert did admit that Everton must still keep their house in order against the Premier League regulations, with their points deductions behind them.

“You look at the wider situation and there have been some positive developments in terms of the takeover as we have seen,” he exclusively told Goodison News.

“You see some transfer activity now and we know that they’ve had a couple of outgoings as well and we’re likely to see more, but any activity and sign of intent is going to be viewed as a positive.

“The situation over the past year or so has meant that they have been deducted the points and they’ve pretty much got to have their house in order now against those regulations because they’ll feel like they’ve been through their time.

“It’s glimpses and moments of positivity and I’m sure fans will welcome that given how the last 18 months have played out.”

With concerns over another charge surrounding the Bramley-Moore Dock costs, every transfer spend must be done with regulations in mind [Kieran Maguire].

There is nothing reckless about this deal for Ndiaye though, with a long-term contract and other business being done on the cheap the right way to go about things.

The Toffees are in a much better position now, on and off the pitch, and it is time to show that this summer going into next season.
