Simon Jordan believes Sean Dyche has what it takes to help Everton avoid Premier League relegation this season.
The Toffees failed to win their first four Premier League games and surrendered two-goal leads versus Bournemouth and Aston Villa but took five points from three matches prior to the international break.
And Jordan is convinced that the Toffees will not be consigned to the drop while Dyche is at the helm.
“I think Sean is what he is isn’t he? He’s a very capable operator and he does the job that Sean Dyche sets out to do in difficult circumstances,” Jordan said live on talkSPORT (16 October).
“Then again, difficult circumstances are made for managers that are made to deal with difficulties, they make them easier.
“Ultimately some of the games they’ve lost they’ve got to look at themselves for, you know the Aston Villa and Bournemouth games specifically. I would not put my money on Everton being relegated.
“I would put Sean Dyche and some of the players they’ve got in there as opportunities they’ve got to get out from underneath”.
Everton will retain their Premier League status this season
Things may have started out quite rough for the Merseyside outfit this term but they’ve never seemed to want to back down.
Dwight McNeil’s recent form has no doubt been a catalyst to their recent results but the impending return of Jarrad Branthwaite and perhaps even the Dan Friedkin takeover will have all played a part in their upturn of form.
The January transfer window is still in the distance at the moment, but, if things manage to come together before the window opens, additional players could be brought in to bolster their ranks.
This needs to be done for the Toffees to keep their team fresh and to help encourage new styles to be introduced into the way they play.
These are all ifs, buts and maybes at the moment of course but there’s no doubt that Everton will at least have one eye on the transfer window and will be thinking about what they can do to bolster their chances of Premier League survival.
