West Ham United have been busy on the transfer front this summer as the club looks to give Julen Lopetegui all the tools he needs to hit the ground running in his new role.
The Hammers brought Lopetegui in to replace David Moyes, whose contract expired at the end of last season.
West Ham have made three signings so far, landing Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
Now, it looks as though the Hammers are closing in on their fourth signing of the summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

‘Here we go’ on Crysencio Summerville to West Ham
The transfer insider, taking to X, declared “here we go” on Crysencio Summerville to West Ham.
Romano says the Hammers and Leeds United have agreed a deal worth in excess of £25million including add-ons.
West Ham are also over the line player-side, with Summerville agreeing a long-term deal with the east Londoners.
The 22-year-old also spoke to Lopetegui ahead of the move and is now “set to sign” for the Hammers, added Romano.
West Ham set to sign Championship Player of the Season
Summerville enjoyed a phenomenal season for Leeds last time out, winning the Championship Player of the Season award for his efforts.
The ‘sensational’ talent – in Jacek Kulig’s words – netted 21 goals across all competitions this season whilst laying on 10 assists.
Now, barring any dramatic late twists, it looks like West Ham will be getting their hands on the talented Dutchman.
Better still, the Hammers also seem to be making good progress in pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker and Germany international Niclas Fullkrug.
